CONCEPT
The powerful sound of a symphony orchestra, classical stars and real rockers. This unique festival has been thundering for 7 years in a row as one of the largest festivals in St. Petersburg.
The concert program includes 50 numbers. Each event becomes a bright and unforgettable experiment.
This is the only festival where opera singers, rock musicians and pop artists perform. The most important thing is that each of them is not afraid to try themselves in another genre. Here rockers sing classics, and vice versa. They are all brave people. Not everyone can go out and sing live with a symphony orchestra.
The festival features compositions of seven different genres. Among them are pop, rock, crossover, folk, ethno, as well as symphonic and operatic works.
The concept of this festival coincides with the seven-year history of the festival, but not only with it. For musicians, this is a metaphor associated with seven notes.
But in fact, the "Seventh Wonder of the World" is seven different genres that we have been developing since the very first festival, - explains the artistic director of the festival "Smoke on the Water. From Classics to Rock" and the chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra Mikhail Golikov.
The Fest are invited musicians, composers, artists, art historians and experts in the field of world culture
